Press Release: A future-themed digital painting competition welcomes artists from across the world

“Under the auspices of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Estonian Government Office and the Estonian Academy of Arts announced the EU 100 competition for digital paintings about the future, and are welcoming submissions from Estonia and across the world until 31 August. The competition has 12 categories and artists are to envision what life could look like in various walks of life in the European Union 100 years after the signing of the Rome Treaty, i.e. in 2057. The categories are based on the priorities of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and represent a number of scenarios, from e-health to the future of work and transport.”
