Agenda: EP ENVI Committee Meeting (19-20 March 2018)

The agenda includes items in energy & climate and environment, food & drink and health and transport policy.

Energy & Climate and Environment –  On 19 March, the agenda includes an exchange of views with the Commission on urban waste water treatment and on EU actions to improve environmental compliance and governance. On 20 March, there will be an exchange of views on the European strategy for plastics, the consideration of the draft opinion on transparent and accountable management of natural resources in developing countries: the case of forests and the consideration of the draft opinion on the future of food and farming.

Food&Drink and Health: On 19 March, the agenda includes an exchange of views with the Commission on the midterm review and future of the Health Programme.  There will also be a consideration of draft opinion on the future of food and farming.

Transport: On 19 March, the agenda includes the consideration of draft opinion on the Common rules for certain types of combined transport of goods between Member States.
