“CEPS-ECRI will launch a Task Force on: “Cybersecurity in Finance: Getting the policy mix right!” on 19 September at CEPS. The different consensuses achieved during the Task Force will result in a list of recommendations and an action plan that will be submitted to the European regulators (primarily DG FISMA, DG Connect, DG Justice, ESAs, ECB, and European Parliament).”
“The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has sent today its response to the European Commission consultation paper on “Fintech: a more competitive and innovative financial sector”, welcoming the initiative to take a stock-take of the EU’s Fintech industry.”

“In response to the European Commission’s recent efforts to advance the digitalisation of EU industry, the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) drew up an own-initiative report on the subject which is to be debated in plenary in May. The report proposes to develop an integrated strategy aimed at creating conditions conducive to reindustrialising the European economy so that it can fully benefit from opportunities offered by digitalisation.”
